Nb is about partnership.

After 30 years of working on all aspects of forestry and timber production the founders of Nb recognize the need to understand the supply from standing tree to the end product. Imagine a seed planted in 2020, harvested in 2040 locking up carbon and then transformed into a building which stands for 80 years.   

​

Nb has the vision to nurture every detail from identifying the best nurseries, matching plantation sites with tree species, using appropriate silviculture, harvesting, processing and marketing to maximise value right along the trade chain.   

​

Nb is committed to linking established culture and traditions with innovation and the possibilities forestry contributes to  our planet’s future. Tree plantations can also support the growth of 30 or more valuable crops in the understory leading to economic development where it is most needed at the community level.  Technology can mean better utilization of smaller trees and smaller dimensions of wood to reduce waste. Put simply NB aims to link what the market wants to what producers can provide without compromising past traditions or future possibilities.
